Monday: John 1:35-51
ReplyDeleteIn this passage it talks about Jesus gathering his disciples. It talks about how Jesus tells Nathanael that he will see heaven open up. He also told him that he saw Nathanael under the fig tree. I act Godly everywhere I go. I try to never sin.
Tuesday: John 2:1-25
ReplyDeleteIn this passage Jesus performed miracles. He turned water into wine. He also got a market out of the temple. People believed in him after he died and rose again. I can't think of a time when Jesus surprised me. I don't think he has yet.
Wednesday: John 3:1-21
ReplyDeleteIn this passage Jesus explained being born again to Nicodemus. He said that flesh gives birth to flesh. Spirit gives birth to spirit. He talked about being baptized. I met Jesus a long time ago. I met him at school. I also grew up in a Christian household.
Thursday: Matthew 17:24-18:6:
ReplyDeleteIn this passage Jesus talks bout children. he said children are the highest in heaven. If someone turned a child away from him, it would be bad. It would be better to tie a stone to their neck and drown them. That shows how great children are. It doesn't surprise me. Children believe in many things. Children's hearts are more open to believe in Jesus.
Friday: Mark 10:17-31
ReplyDeleteIn this passage a man went to Jesus. He wanted to enter heaven. He said he had kept all the commandents since he was little. Jesus told him to sell everything. The man was sad. He was very rich. Then Jesus said it was harder for thte rich to enter heaven than a camel to go through the eye of a needle. The hardest thing Jesus could ask me to give up would definitely be my family. My mom, dad, and Phillip mean everything to me. It would be so hard to give them up.
