Week 8: Friday: Job 38:1-41
In this passage god is asking Job alot of questions. He is saying stuff like where was he when he layed the earths foundation. He also asked have you ever given orders to the morning. He asked a bunch of questions like that. Nature reminds me of God's greatness. Being alive does to and seeing all living things shows just how great God is. God made everything. He is so good.

Week 8: Thursday: Job 2:1-13
In this passage Satan and some angels went to the Lord. The Lord asked what Satan wanted. Satan replied that he could get Job to spit and curse the Lord if he could hurt him. The Lord let Satn do that. Yet Job didn't. He stayed pure and never cursed God. I am tempted to compromise my faith when I get hurt. I always pray to God to heal me. I just get tempted not to.

Week 8: Wednesday: Job 1:1-22
In this passage Job had everything. Then some angels and Satan went to the Lord. Satan spoke with God. Satan said to God if he took everything away from Job Job would blame God. God gave Satan permission to take everything away from. Job. Satan did just that. Job then did an almost impossible thing to do. He didn't blame God. He fell to the ground and praised God. When people I love die, I sometimes question God. Like my great grandma. She was a really great woman of God. I know I shouldn't question God but I do sometimes.

In this passage Mordecaii helped the king. hen the king asked Haman what to do to honor the man he desired, haman thought he was talking about him. he told the king everything to do that he would like. Then the king said to go do all that for Mordecai. After that, Esther told the king about Haman. It is always helpful to know that God is in control. If I forget, that is bad. I love God.

In this passage Esther asked the king and Haman to a banquet. Then the king asked agian what she wanted. She said she would tell him at the banquet tomrrow. Then Haman went home and boasted. Then he said he wanted to kill Mordecai. His wife and friends suggested it. I haven't done anything scary yet to obey God. I might have but I dont know.

Week 7: Friday: Esther 4:1-17
In this passage Mordecai tore his clothes. He put on black clothes. Queen Esther became worried and sent for Hathach. She wanted Hathach to see him. Esther told Mordecai to tell the Jews to fast for three days. She said she would go to the king even though it was illegal. Mordecai carried out her instructions. When I get scared, I always pray. When someone starts going against God, I tell them that is not right.

Week 7: Thursday: Esther 3:1-5
In this pasage the king puts Haman in a high place of power. the king commanded everyone to bow down to Haman. Mordecai wouldn't bow down though. Men would ask Mordecai why he didn't bow. He wouldn't answer. They went and told Haman. They also told Haman that Mordecai was a Jew. When Haman found out about Mordecai, he was enraged with anger. I can't remember when I was tempted to compromise my faith. I know I have been tempted. I just can't remember when.

Week 7: Wednesday: Esther 2:1-23
In this passage the king had a bunch of women picked to be his queen. All the women were really pretty. He picked Esther though. Haman had a plan to kill the jews. He was one of the kings officials. Mordecai told esther. She turned in Haman. When it was investigated and found to be true ,the two officials were hung on the poles they made for the jews.ne time I had a really hard play practice. We practiced all day. The show came out great though. that happens like every summer.

In this passage Queen Vashti throws a banquet for the women in king Xerxes palace. King Xerxes got drunk. He sent for his queen. She refuse to come. He just wanted to show off her beauty. He ordered her out of the kingdom. She was never allowed to be in the presence of king Xerxes ever again. I take the most important people in my life for granted a lot. I hate to say it. I don't like to take people for granted.

Week 6: Friday: Nehemiah 5:1-19
In this passage the people were being charged interest. Some were sold into slavery. When Nehemiah heard about this, he was angry. He made everyone swear not to sell people into slavery. They also had to promise to give back every bit of money they took and not to charge anymore interest. Whoever disobeyed this God would punish. I don't help the poor much. I hate to say it. I want to help. I just don't know what to do to help them. I don't see very many poor people here in the United States of America.

Week 6: Tuesday: 2 Kings 22:1- 23:3
In this passage Josiah becomes king. He is only 8. he ruled fpr 31 years. Hilkiah was the priest. Josiah sent his servant to go to him. hilkiah gave them the Book of the Law. When the king read this he tore his robes. He then gave orders to the priest. When the Bible is a lost book, only bad things can happen. I live my life by the Bible.
Week 6: Monday: 2 Kings 11:1-21
In this passage one of the king's wives' child died. She set out to kill all the other children in the royal family. They put one child in hiding for 6 years. On the 7th year they put guards all around the king and the young prince. He was appointed king. In life my best examples or role models are my friends, parents, and brother. They always help me.

Week 5: Friday: Fri. 2 Kings 5: 1-27
In this passage Naaman was a great soldier. He had leprosy. He went to the king of Israel to be healed. The king of Israel sent him to Elisha. Elisha told him to go bathe in the Jordan 7 times. He was mad. He then went and bathed after someone convinced him. He was healed. then he tried to offer something to Elisha. Elisha wouldn't take it though. The Elisha's servant thought his master was too easy on him. Elisha's servant went and got two talents of silver and two sets of clothes. Then Elisha said his spirit was with his servant, and he cursed his servant for basically stealing. His servant got Naaman's leprosy and his descendants were cursed with it too. I can't think of something I refused or refuse to do for God. I love him. I will do anything for God. I know there is something I have refused to do. I just cant think of it.

In this passage Elijah and Elisha were walking. Elijah told Ellisha to stay somewhere. Elisha said that as long as Elijah lived he wouldn't leave his side. They repeated that over and over. Then the Lord took Elijah to heaven. I carry a commitment all the way through. If I promise I'll do something,I do it. If it is something bad, then I wont do it. I try to do everything I commit to.

In this passage the king of Judah's soldiers went after Jehoshaphat in war. They realized that he wasn't the king of Israel so they stopped chasing him. They then killed the king of Israel. They buried him in Samaria. I don't think I can hide from God. he is with me all the time. No one can hide from God ever.

In this passage king Aborab wanted Nathaob's vineyard. He wouldn't sell his vineyard. The king got so mad. His wife told him he could have whatever he wanted. She accused Nathaob. Nathaob was stoned.The king went to take the vineyard he had wanted. Elijah stopped the king and cursed him. Justice is order. If you want order there has to be justice. Justice is really important.
Week 4: Thursday: 1 Kings 18: 16-46
In this passage Elijah and the people of Israel built offerings. They called on the name of their gods. The people of Israel called on Baal to bring fire to their alter. There was no answer when they called on him. When Elijah called on the Lord his alter was filled with fire. Then the people believed that God I love God. I believe he can do anything. He can heal any disease. I love him.
Week 4: Friday: 1 Kings 19: 1-21
In this passage Elijah heard how all of the prophets were killed and ran in terroe. He went into the desert and an angel visited him two times and gave him something to eat. After he had walked forty days and forty nights he found a cave and spent the night. God went to Elijah and asked him what he was doing there. Elijah told him that all of the prophets were killed. he also told God his alters were destroyed and his covenant was broken. The last time I felt sorry for myself was when I got hurt. My neck was hurting really bad because I pulled a muscle in my neck.

This passage talks about Solomon building the temple. they said stuff about the months Ziv and Bul. It talks about how Solomon used gold, cedar, and juniper to build the temple. This passage was about Solomon becoming king. David made Solomon king. He chose Solomon and Adonijah was afraid of Solomon. Solomon told Adonijah he wouldn't hurt him if he proved himself worthy. I know God is still in control because I get a voice in my head. He tells me that he is always with me. I barely stray. I am confident in the Lord.

In this passage Adonijah will be king next. His mother talks to the king. Then Nathan asks the king who will be king after him.When I don't make good decisions, I get in trouble. I sometimes don't think things through. I always try to think things through though.

In this passage it talks about Absolum taking over Israel. David had to flee Israel. David sent two priests to Israel to bring the ark of God back. Then David sent Hushai back to Israel too. He had to tell david everything he heard. God and my parents help keep my motives clear. When ever I'm told to do something I do it. I know God can punish me for not listening to him. Week 2: Wednesday: 2 Samuel 14: 1-33
In this passage the king helped Joab. The king let Absalom back into Jerusalem and Israel. He was able to have three children. Absalom then wanted to know why he left Geshur to go to Jerusalem. I deal with family conflict badly. I yell until I get my way. I am very persausive. My parents say I should be a lawyer because I act like a lawyer during any kind of conflict. I always get my way. No one can persade me because I am hard-headed.
Week 2: Teusday: 2 Sam. 12: 13-25
In this passage Nathan tells David that Bathsheba's son will die. The child dies. After the child is dead David starts eating again. David stops weeping too. I feel bad when I ask for God's forgiveness. It shows that I did something wrong. I don't like doing wrong things. It gets on my nerves. I also feel guilty.
week 2: Monday: 2 Samuel 12: 1-12
In this passage nathan told David about a man who stole another man's sheep. David got so mad. Nathan then told David that he was that man. God corrected David. I have many friends who will correct me. For example, Natalie and Christen will correct me. Sometimes I am tempted to not do my own work. They always correct me. I learn from my mistakes and I'm not tempted as much the next time.

Week 1: Friday: 2 Samuel 11: 1-27
In this passage David saw a woman bathing. Some of his messengers went and got her. her name was is Bathsheba. She slept with David. Later they found out she was pregnant. Then her father went to David. Her father didn't go back home so he was killed. Later David married Uriah's wife after her mourning time for Uriah was over. It is hard for me to admit fault when I know I'll get in trouble. I try to hold off punishment for as long as I can. It doesn't work very well. I try not to sin. I just somehow sin when I don't know I'm sinning.
Week 1:Thursday: 2 Samuel 9: 1-13
In this passage David gave Saul's grandson Saul's land back. David showed kindness to Saul's grandson. He was really nice. I have a couple promises that need to be kept. First, I have promised to God to keep his commandments. I intend to NEVER brake this promise. Second, I have promised to read my bible more often. I haven't really made any other promises. I try to not sin. Nobody is perfect so sometimes I lie and do liitle sins like that. Whenever I have noticed I sinned I repent.

Week 1: Wednesday: 2 Samuel 5: 1-12
In this passage God made David king over Israel. It talks about how he was thirty when he became king. He ruled for forty years. He conquered the Jebusites. In their kingdom is where he became king of Israel. To become a person who is more pleasing to God I would have to change a bunch of stuff about me. I would have to watch less TV. I would have to read the Bible more. I would have to testify more. I would need to pray more that once at night and during school. I would be a more Godly person. I'm not perfect. I can't do all these things all the time. I'll try to do more though.

In this passage Saul disguised himself.He went to a medium.He saw Samuel's ghost.Samuel told him some really terrible news. He knew he would die the next day. Bringing up ghosts like Samuel and witchcraft are some occult practices. God doesn't like those types of things. He says don't hang around witchcraft. It is bad. He would hate it if anyone participated in that kind of practice.

Week 1: Monday: 1 Samuel 25: 1-42
In this passage Abigail warned David. Many men would have died if it weren't for her. God killed Nabal. Then Abigail became David's wife. God tells me in my head not to do that. When I make a mistake, he reminds me so I won't do it again.He is so helpful. I don't like making mistakes.God helps me learn from my mistakes though.
