  1. Monday: Daniel 5:1-30
In this passage the king sent out for gold goblets. His father took the goblets from the temple of Jerusalem. While he and his friends were drinking, a hand appeared on teh wall and wrote something that scared him. Daniel was asked to figure this one out too. God wrote a warning to the king. The night daniel explained it the king was slain. In the society where I live not very many people are Christians. God could punish the society for sinning.

  5. Teusday: Daniel 6:1-28
In this passage some people didn't want Daniel to be in charge. They tricked the king into making a law. Daniel worshipped his God. He disobeyed the law. He got thrown in the lion's den. He survived. The people who wanted to kill him got throen into the lion's den and died. I pray every night before I go to sleep.

  6. Wednesday: Jonah 1:1-2:10
In this passage Jonah was running from God. God put a storm upon the ship he was on. He told them to through him in the sea to calm it. Then a huge fish swallowed him. In the fish Jonah prayed to God. The Lord commanded the fish to vomit Jonah. Joah landed on dry land. I don't remember the last time I tried to avoid what God wanted me to do. I know I have.

  7. Thursday:Jonah 3:1-4:11
In this passage Jonah warned Nineveh of God's wrath. They turned from their wicked ways. Jonah got angry. God used a plant as an example for Jonah. I complain to him about having to go to school. I complain about many things. I can't think of any others now. I know there is more though.

  8. Friday: Luke 1:1-4 and John 1:1-18
In these passages there was a man sent from God whose name was John.He went as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light. He spoke of God's children coming. He was talking of Jesus. Yes, I have recieved Jesus as my Savior.
